There is no higher wisdom than that of knowing what to do next.
Reflections on Wisdom
by R. Whitson Seaman

The costliest kind of wisdom is the kind you learn from experience.

The wise man says what you would have said if you had thought of it first.

As the years go by the wise become even wiser, and the foolish even more foolish.

The public consists of a few wise men and a multitude of fools.

He is wise who is well aware of the fact that he doesn’t know as much as he should.

That age brings wisdom is the fantasy of older people.

There is no higher wisdom than that of knowing what to do next.

Some are wiser than they look, and some look wiser than they are.

Wisdom sometimes begins with doubt but seldom ends with it.

All wise sayings have their opposites -- which may be equally wise.
